Shiori Reader is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data in our app.

## Data Collection

**We do not collect, transmit, or share any user data.**

All data including:
- Imported books
- Reading progress and bookmarks
- Dictionary lookup history
- Saved vocabulary words
- App settings and preferences

...are stored **locally on your device only** and never leave your device.

## External Communication

The only external communication occurs when using the **optional Anki integration feature**. This feature:
- Uses iOS URL schemes to communicate with the Anki app on the same device (if installed)
- Does not transmit data over the internet
- Only works if you have AnkiMobile installed and explicitly choose to export words

## Analytics & Tracking

We do not use:
- Analytics services
- Tracking technologies
- Telemetry or crash reporting services
- Third-party advertising networks

## Your Data Rights

Since we don't collect any data, there is no data for us to access, modify, or delete. All your data remains under your complete control on your device.

If our privacy practices change, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above.
